Small (2.5kW to 4kW): Best for singles, couples or low energy users. Produces around 11 to 17 units per day and starts from $2,900 fully installed.
Medium (5kW to 6.6kW): Suits couples and growing families. Produces 22 to 29 units per day and starts from $4,900. A 6.6kW system is the largest Western Power approves for single-phase homes and still qualifies for DEBS.
Large (8kW to 12kW): Ideal for bigger homes with pools or electric vehicles. Produces 35 to 52 units per day and starts from $8,500.
Extra Large (15kW to 20kW): For high energy users. Produces up to 88 units per day, can generate $10,000 worth of electricity annually and starts from $15,000.
Commercial (10kW to 40kW): A 39kW system can save up to $19,000 per year in energy costs, with payback periods better than residential solar. Systems start from $12,000.
Battery Storage: Tesla Powerwall systems start from $14,800. Hybrid solar and battery packages (6.6kW to 15kW solar paired with 5kWh to 28kWh battery) start from $16,000.
Hot Water: Solar hot water systems start from $2,800 and heat pumps from $2,999, with potential savings of around $1,000 per year for a family home.
